Evidence of Truth

If you are anything like me, you have either spoken to atheists or heard sarcastic questions from atheists and other non-believers which mock your faith. You may even be one of those people reading this. There seems to be a consistent mantra from that point of view that sings the same refrain over and over, There is NO Evidence for God.  Even when there is concrete evidence presented it is mocked away as if it is fantasy. I have never had compelling evidence presented to me from the representatives of unbelief that prove there is not a God anymore than they feel they have received from the believing side that there is a God.  It is hard to convince someone of truth if they really do not want it. There is evidence but it comes from more than one source.  It comes from areas like testimonies, prophecy, archeology, creation research and others.
It is important to note that Jesus Himself answered the question of an honest unbeliever about evidence of God in the following verse when Nicodemus came to Him at night to inquire of Him to see if He was authentic. He no doubt came to Jesus under the cover of darkness to make an honest but secret inquiry to find out who this Jesus was.  The following verse is the account of his meeting with Jesus:
John 3: 1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.  2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.”  3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”  4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”  5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’  8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”  9 Nicodemus said to him, “How can these things be?”  10 Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?  11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.  12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
There are two things I would like to point out in this verse, first; Jesus makes a correlation to the wind in comparison to the things of God’s Spirit.  Just as you cannot see the wind but you can hear it blow, so are those who are born again, you cannot see their God but you can hear their testimony of what God has done in their life.  The next thing He said was that Nicodemus had heard the witnesses speak of their experiences but he would not receive (or accept) them.  It is the same with many unbelievers, they will not accept the testimony of others who have been born again.  But if you will open up your heart and listen honestly to the testimonies of those that know God, you just might find the faith to join with us and worship the true God, Jesus Christ.
I submit to you today that you can enter the Kingdom of Heaven and you can speak with God and He will speak to you once you are born of the spirit for as Jesus told the scribes and pharisees, the kingdom of God is within you.  The bible says that there is a veil over the eyes of unbelievers until they turn to the Lord.  But the veil will be taken away when you give your life to Jesus and you will be able to understand the mysteries of Heaven and commune with the Almighty God personally.  If you would like to know the God of Eternity, Jesus Christ, today is your chance.  Simply change your mind (repent) about Him today and believe Him and the veil will be removed from your heart and you will be able to understand the mysteries of Heaven.  (Romans 10:9-13)
If you are a believer already, please share the evidence of God in your life through your testimony.  That is the only evidence that atheists or any unbeliever needs if they are truly seeking truth.  Those that have experienced the love and deliverance of the one true God have the witness in themselves that they are saved and have seen the work of God in their life over and over again.  Today we need to share our evidence more and more as this world continues its swift decline into the world of the antichrist and outright satanism.
