JESUS IS MY GOD

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given : and the government shall be upon his shoulder : and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The MIGHTY GOD, The EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace.

Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, THE ALMIGHTY 

John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen THE FATHER; and how sayest thou then , Shew us the Father?

 John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the WORD WAS GOD. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 

Colosians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY.

Genesis 3:10 And he said, I heard thy VOICE (means the same as Word in the New Testament) in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 

John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 

Matthew 8:27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! 

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 

John 4:24 God is a Spirit : and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD (means God by implication) Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 

     There are too many more scriptures that state clearly that Jesus IS GOD. The Jews judged Him guilty of blasphemy because they thought He was just a man calling Himself GOD. Suffice it to say, no man could EVER do what JESUS did. The very attributes of Jesus were the same as God Himself such as keeping His own law perfectly, healing all of diseases, casting out demons, command the weather, etc. No MAN is capable of doing that.

     In plain language, God IS A SPIRIT, JESUS is flesh. The flesh of JESUS (Son of God) was created BY GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT, and dwelt in the flesh called JESUS (all of the fulness of the Godhead lived in JESUS bodily). God became a man to suffer death for all sinful man so that He could be just in forgiving us and delivering us from the Hell that He had created for the devil and his demons. He also became flesh so He could fulfill the law that was against us so it could be taken out of the way. 1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (SIN).
