HOW CAN WE KNOW WHAT GOD IS REALLY TRYING TO SAY TO US IN THE BIBLE?
Can we REALLY know what God is trying to tell us by studying the bible? Do we need to go to seminary or bible college and be taught by the professors there to REALLY know? Do we need our pastor to explain this complicated book to us because somehow God failed to speak clearly enough for us to understand what He was saying when He spoke to His prophets and apostles If you believe that the interpretation of the bible is arbitrary and open to anyone's spin, you are sadly mistaken. If you believe that one needs a degree to understand the scripture properly, you are also sadly mistaken. If you believe that it takes years and years of research and studying of all of the great men of the Christian faith to truly comprehend the meaning of scripture, again you are sadly mistaken. Understanding of the scripture and the TRUE intent of it's words is not found in the carnal mind our human understanding or in the knowledge of learned individuals.
1 Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so THE THINGS OF GOD KNOWETH NO MAN, but the SPIRIT OF GOD.1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: NEITHER CAN HE KNOW THEM, because they are SPIRITUALLY discerned.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into ALL TRUTH:
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you:
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS of the heart.
These scriptures clarify why it is that you must be BORN AGAIN of the Spirit. You have to have the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit living in your heart to teach you what He meant when He breathed the scriptures through the prophets and His apostles. (John 3:3 ....Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God.)There are many in the world who attempt to study and teach the bible as they would study or teach a book written by man. But the bible is not like any other book. It is a record of the sayings of God Himself written down as Holy Men were moved by the Holy Spirit. The revelations in this Holy book cannot be understood by the flesh because the things of the flesh have fallen away from God and are in direct opposition to the Word of God. (1 Johns 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.) The word, "unction" actually means anointing. If you are born again you are anointed with the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Truth that Jesus spoke of in the gospel of John and therefore have access to ALL KNOWLEDGE because God is the source of ALL KNOWLEDGE. (Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.) You CAN know the things or God if you have received the Holy Spirit into your heart. The Apostles were clear on this.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.10 But GOD HATH REVEALED THEM UNTO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Therefore my friends, don't let anyone tell you that you must be under the tutorship of a man and study many, many books that men have written ABOUT God and learn what the professors, priests, pastors, teachers, etc. in order to understand God. God has made it SIMPLE and He does not have any problem communicating what He means. If you don't have the UNCTION from the Holy Ghost, ask God for it today. He will respond when you get REAL with HIm. You too can have access to the very intent of the Spirit of God and He will speak to you when you study scripture if you just ask Him.
