Little Commandments
LITTLE COMMANDMENTS
Don't get too hung up about all of the LITTLE commandments that you and others have broken. The first and GREATEST commandment of ALL is to love the Lord God with all of your heart, soul and strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.)
If you haven't kept the GREATEST COMMANDMENT of all, why are you worried about the little ones? If a person slaughtered dozens of innocent people with an automatic rifle, would we be worried about him rolling through a stop sign? I think not. God is mostly concerned about the GREATEST COMMANDMENT. That is that we have NO OTHER GODS before Him. That we love Him with every part of our being. All of the little commandments would be kept if we could just keep this commandment. The devil lied when he told Adam that he could be LIKE GOD. No one is, can be or ever will be LIKE GOD. He stands all alone in the realm of perfection and holiness. That is why He became flesh so that He could die to fulfill His own judgement against man's sin. That cleared the WAY for us to come back home to Him.
JEWELS OF GOD
God said in Malachi 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD SPAKE OFTEN TO ONE ANOTHER: and the LORD hearkened , and heard [it], and a BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE was written before him for THEM THAT FEARED THE LORD, and that THOUGHT UPON HIS NAME.
So many people think that God is writing down every time they sin or think something wrong but the bible says that God is writing a book on:
1. Whether we speak to each other about Him.
2. Whether we fear Him.
3. Whether we think upon His name.
LOOK AT ME
Don't be like those who will stand at the gate of the Holy City bragging about their own works that were done IN THE NAME OF JESUS. Their works were not the issue. It was their devotion that God was looking for.
