IS JESUS GOD IN THE FLESH?

Is Jesus really God in the Flesh? This question has been asked for centuries and answered in a variety of ways. Many of them are the philosophies born in the mind of man. Others are revelations of scripture. I believe some of the answers are doctrines of demons meant to confuse men so that they cannot understand who God truly is.
     In order to get started with this thought let me first establish that the Word in the gospel of John was the VOICE of God that was present in the garden when Adam and Eve hid after they had sinned. We will do this by visiting Genesis 3 and John 1 and making a comparison between the two.
     John tells us in the first chapter of his book that the Word of God was there in the beginning of creation. This Word is the Greek word Logos which means literally the expression of a person's thoughts and intentions by speech or voice. In Genesis we find that Adam and Eve heard the VOICE of God walking in the garden.
Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the PRESENCE of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
They hid because they had just disobeyed the clear commandment of God by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
     Clearly in Genesis we see that the voice or presence of God was walking in the garden. The voice of God IS the presence of God. The presence of God is the very essence of His existence. The Hebrew word translated voice in Genesis means the same thing as Logos in the Greek. It is the verbal expression of the conscience thoughts and intentions of God Himself. The name Jesus means God is salvation. Isaiah prophesied that a virgin would conceive and that the child born of her would be called Emmanuel which means, 'God with us' or in other words presence of God with us. Matthew tells us that when Jesus was born of Mary this was the fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah but Joseph named the child Jesus as instructed by Gabriel. The reason is not provided as to why He was not called Emmanuel, however, just as God has many names based on His attributes in scripture, it is true that Jesus was and is called God in the flesh or God among us. So then, Isaiah's prophecy can only mean that Emmanuel or God with us would be an attribute of Jesus. This is the same technique that Isaiah used in chapter 9 verse 6 when he said, " 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given : and the government shall be upon his shoulder : and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
     John says that not only was the Voice of God with God but the Voice of God WAS God. It is evident that the Voice of God is actually God because it is the expression of His very conscientiousness. We were created the same way. God gave man the ability to express his thoughts with verbal expression as well, therefore, when we express our thoughts it can be said that the very words we speak are truly the essence of our thoughts and intentions because they are the expression of our spirit that was created in us. When we speak we are expressing the thoughts and intentions of our spirit.
     God did not give the animals this ability, however, only man. Man was made in the image of God and Jesus tells us in John 4 that God IS A SPIRIT. So then, God created the spirit of man. But we are not the same spirit as God. We have our own spirit which is our very own presence or existence. We are created spirits much like the angels of God are ministering spirits,
Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
     Jesus is not like us, however. He is not a separate spirit from God as we are. John says that He IS GOD. Therefore the same Spirit of God that was hovering over the earth at creation is the Spirit that lived in the body of Jesus. That's why John says that all things were created by Him. Jesus is the expression of this Spirit, the Holy Spirit who IS GOD. Gabriel told Mary in response to her question about how she would conceive without knowing a man;
Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that HOLY THING which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
     Gabriel told her that the Holy Ghost would come upon her and the Power of God would overshadow her and cause her to conceive in her womb a body that the Holy Spirit who is God Himself would put on as a man puts on a suit of clothes. The first chapter of 1 Corinthians states in verse 24 that Christ IS THE POWER AND WISDOM OF GOD. The Holy thing that would be born of her was the very Voice of God that took His place in the newly fermented egg in Mary's womb. The POWER AND WISDOM of God was going to wear the flesh that was created in the womb of Mary. This is the same voice that created ALL things. The very expression and intention of God Himself. God put His Spirit in this body (JESUS) that would be born from the body of Mary and Gabriel instructed them to call Him JESUS. God did not create a new and separate Spirit for the body of Jesus. He put His own Spirit in that body, the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Jesus is the Holy Spirit, the very thoughts and intentions of God Himself. There is no other Holy (morally pure and righteous) spirit besides God. The flesh body of Jesus was created in Mary's womb by the power of the Holy Spirit and therefore is the SON OF GOD but His Spirit is the same Spirit as God Himself and therefore Jesus is God in the Flesh. There is no other Spirit inside the flesh of Jesus but the Holy Spirit. God is a Spirit and the only morally pure and righteous Spirit that exists.
      The Word is actually the verbal expression of the thoughts and intentions of God or the VOICE of GOD. In this Voice was Life and this life was the light of men. This life or light shined in the darkness and the darkness could not overcome it. In 1 Corinthians 1:24 we are told that Christ IS the Power and Wisdom of God. Therefore, the Voice of God (JESUS) is the expression of All of the Power and Wisdom of God. So if Jesus is the POWER of GOD then He has authority over all things. The Voice of God became flesh and He was called Jesus.
     Taking all of this in consideration it might help to get a clear revelation of who Jesus is by replacing the word (Logos) in John chapter 1 with the translation from Genesis 'Voice' of God. Here it is for your enlightenment.

John 1 In the beginning was the Voice of God, and the Voice of God was with God, and the Voice of God was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by the Voice of God; and without the Voice of God was not any thing made that was made.  4 In the Voice of God was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light (the Voice of God), which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 The Voice of God was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew not the Voice of God. 11 The Voice of God came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received the Voice of God, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (Jesus) : 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Voice of God was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
     The conclusion is that Jesus is the Son of God in the flesh and the Holy Spirit is His Spirit. His flesh was born of the Holy Spirit who overshadowed Mary and therefore THE HOLY SPIRIT IS HIS FATHER. That is how He could tell Phillip in John 14 that anyone that has seen Him has seen the Father and that the Father was in him and He was in the Father. That is how the Spirit of God's Son can reside in our flesh because THE HOLY SPIRIT IS the Spirit of HIS Son. That is how He could call Himself the Almighty God in Revelation, because GOD IS A SPIRIT (John 4) and the First and the Last and the Great I AM in Matthew. All through the Old Testament and even in orthodox Judaism today the name of God was unknown. That is why Jesus has ALL AUTHORITY in Heaven, on earth and under the earth. Now He has a name and His name is Jesus. The Son is honored as the Father because His Spirit IS THE SPIRIT OF THE FATHER.  Romans 10:9 tells us we must believe and confess Jesus as Lord to be saved. That is why he was crucified because He proclaimed who He was through His VOICE that was made flesh in the Son of God, JESUS CHRIST.
