THE MIND OF CHRIST

Unlike popular secular opinion the last thing you want to do is follow your own heart. (Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?) Like it or not the heart of man is evil and fallen from the ways of God (Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts). We must trust the Word of God against our own thoughts to do His will in our life. Follow your heart and you will die. Don't let your heart be in control. Give control to Jesus through His Word.
Also just as Jesus spoke of when He stated that evil thoughts give birth to sin, so it is with good thoughts. When you conform your thoughts to Jesus' Word, (Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.) it will give birth to good acts of kindness and love toward others and you will be an effective witness for Him.
Healing also does not begin in the flesh. It begins in your heart. If you need healing in your flesh today, begin by accepting healing in your heart first so that it can manifest in your flesh. The healing of your mind will bring forth healing in your flesh. Trust in Jesus to deliver you. He has authority over all things (Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power [authority] is given unto me in heaven and in earth.) Your physical well being is not outside of His authority.
Don't believe your own evil heart about sickness and disease. Don't accept it because Jesus stripes provide healing of all of our infirmities and diseases (Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.)
Am I saying that your words have some magical powers? NO! I am saying that he word of Jesus has power and He has already spoken healing through His name. He went around healing ALL who were sick (Acts 10:36 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him) when He walked this planet and He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.)
You can be healed in His name today. Don't be afraid. Only believe. (Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.)
If you need healing of relationships it is the same thing. Jesus taught about relationships constantly in the scriptures. For instance; he teaches us in Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. Jesus teaches us to go beyond what our hearts desire and think about others first before we seek to please ourselves.
Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest : for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged : condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned : forgive, and ye shall be forgiven : 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall MEN give into your bosom.
This verse is cited frequently by many preachers who interpret it as meaning that if you give money to them GOD will give money to you from heaven but that is clearly a misrepresentation of what the context is truly speaking of here. Jesus was speaking about our relationships with others. The context is not speaking about giving to ministries here at all. He says clearly if you give MEN will give to you. He is simply stating that people will reciprocate however you treat them. It is the same principle as the saying that says, "what goes around comes around." Or, "What you sow is what you reap."
Phillippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
It is imperative my friends that you conform your mind to the sayings of Christ if you are to have a joyful and peaceful life. Your life will not always be a cakewalk but you can learn to be content in whatever state you find yourself in.
Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Please remember this one thing,
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Without doing this you cannot transform your mind to the Word of God.
